Our CattleOur beef is born on our farm, raised on pasture until they are weaned and then are fed out in a feedlot for about 9 months. They are fed corn silage mixed with cracked corn and soybean meal and minerals. We mix our own feed on the farm and the grain is non-GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms).
Conservation Efforts on the FarmWe have been working in our cattle pasture to create a riparian area along the Four Mile Creek. The cows are fenced off the banks and rotated though different paddocks, with controlled access to the creek for drinking. We have also planted new trees along the banks.
